ABOUT ELIZABETH

Elizabeth SAETIA discovered Tai Ji Quan in 1998 at the Yang Original school. What started as a hobby quickly became a deep passion that transformed her life. Intensive practice, workshops, and theoretical study led her to adopt Tai Ji Quan as a way of life.

In 2000, she began professional training in Chinese internal and energy arts with Jean-Michel CHOMET, where she spent five years studying Xing Yi Quan (Boxing of Form and Intention), Ba Gua Zhang (Palm of the Eight Trigrams), various forms of Tai Ji Quan (Yang, Wudang, and Liu Ti), and Zhan Zhuang Gong.

In 2001, she completed her training with Bob LOWEY, studying Dao Yin Yang Shen Gong, Wudang Tai Ji Quan, and San Shou.

In 2009, Elizabeth also discovered Cheng Hsin "the art of effortless power" with Peter RALSTON, in which she became fully invested. She successively obtained Degree 1 in 2013, Degree 2 in 2016, Degree 3 in 2019, and then Kyu 19 in August 2025.

Today, her practice is guided by the search for effortless movement and greater self-knowledge. She emphasizes the unification of body and mind, supported by a solid foundation of breathing. Elizabeth particularly appreciates the playful dimension of this exploration, without falling into a spirit of confrontation, in order to preserve integrity and avoid injury.
